TIPS WHEN YOU BUY A HOUSE

I cannot believe that it's been already one year!

              I bought my house with Nick one year ago . It was a long and very tiring process .
I will give you a couple of tips and tricks on how to get a loan the easy way and the first steps when buying a house.
             First , you need money,then you need a mortgage adviser . The mortgage adviser will do some of the work for you , but you need a good credit score to receive a loan.
             How do you build a good credit score?Pay all your taxes , pay all your bills and register to vote!
            Why is your credit score important ? The thing is that every time you apply for a loan,the bank checks your credit score . If one of the banks refuses to give you a loan , your credit score drops .  This was also my case . They refused to give me a loan for the fact that I had 3 jobs in 2 years .
            As an alternative,depending on how much money you need , can also apply for loans for bad credit .

            We had to save loads of money : the 5% for first buyers , payment for our mortgage adviser , solicitors and the hidden fees . This last category really got us struggling ,I believe that companies should be forbidden to ask for hidden fees , but when your 10 page contract has a small written condition that more fees can apply,there's nothing you can do,so read any contract really carefully.
Those small hidden fees cost us some of the money we have planned to use for buying our furniture.

HAIR LOSS

           

          I just returned from my vacation and let me tell you,I had such a great time! My return flight was yesterday and thanks to storm Ophelia we had one of the worst landings ever , I am so happy and humble to still be alive!
My trip on the other hand was amazing , I did a make-up course so I guess that now I am also a Certified Makeup Artist ! I learned so many things and new techniques and I can hardly wait to show you too!
          I came to the UK with my mom and uncles and I will spoil them for a whole week , I am really excited to show them how beautiful England really is.
          On the plane,after several talks with my mom,we both realised that during the autumn season,our hair starts falling a lot . While me and my mom have a really strong and curly hair,I told her that is not the case for my husband . He really struggles with hair loss , so he tried every product on the market against hair loss: shampoo , conditioner, serums and even pills . Unfortunately , while some of them stop the hair loss for a while , some of them don't work at all , and eventually after he stops using those products,the hair starts falling again.
           After searching for anything against hair loss,we came across the ultimate solution : hair transplant . The FUE hair transplant cost depends from case to case , so a consultation would be needed before knowing the exact cost.
In one year or so I am sure that he will save the money for such a procedure.

W7 Palette Smokin' Review+Giveaway


A couple of days ago I was kindly given a beautiful W7 Smokin' Palette to review ,so here are my thoughts on it.

             I must say,I needed such a palette because all my other palettes have very bright colours.It's hard for me to find a dark palette that doesn't have intense blue colours as it really looks bad on me , being a blue eyed girl.
             As for the W7 Smokin Palette ,the brighter glittery colors are quite pigmented and long lasting.
The last three matte colors are not very pigmented ,but all the other colors are pigmented and quite long lasting,perfect for a smokey eye.
            Per total,I think you get a decent quality for the price and it's a perfect palette for beginners and for the girls that like really intense smokey eyes.

SKIN CARE TIPS FOR THE COLD SEASON





           Just because summer is over , that doesn't mean that we should neglect our skin,on the contrary,our skin needs even more care.The cold , windy weather normally brings us chapped lips and dry skin , but I have the perfect products to make it through the season .
Because my skin gets very dry and sometimes flaky, I have to exfoliate it every time I take a shower,so this is my shower and skin care routine:



First thing first: before taking a shower , I apply my Bee Good Facial Exfoliator and I leave it on my skin until I finish my shower,and I remember every couple of minutes to gently massage it onto my face and lips .This is a product that I absolutely adore and I have received it in my Glossybox a while ago , but I use it at least once per week and it's very gentle to the sensitive skin . Also , after I wash it off I immediately use a  face serum and a hydrating cream.

 I bought Ecotools  for its dual cleansing pad,which means that you can use it on both sides ; the front for cleaning and the back pad for exfoliating the skin.I always use it with the Verbena Leaf Soap from L'Occitane, because this soap is also a gentle exfoliator and it smells really nice.I would say it is unisex,so your partner might like it as well.





I really had mixed feelings if I should include in this post my Scrub Love with Charcoal and Avocado because I have a love-hate relationship with it.Why?Well...Whenever I use it , my bathtub becomes a mess,the smell isn't very appealing and my skin gets a bit dark because of the big chunks of charcoal ,but I will continue using this product because it actually works.It's the best exfoliator that I have ever used,but it can be a bit harsh with the skin.After I use it my skin looks a bit redish  but after one minute it just changes to its normal colour and my skin becomes baby soft.This is the perfect moment to use a body cream.

 Malee Conditioning Body Cream quickly became my favourite body cream for the cold season.It smells gorgeous, and it works so good for my dry skin . This is the only body cream which I use that my husband doesn't say ' the smell is too strong!' or 'don't use it before we go to bed! ' .It has a buttery texture , but it gets absorbed easily and it contains vitamins beneficial for your skin.

Weekend Shopping - MAC , KAT VON D , SLEEK

I really don't know what's happening to me lately , but if it's a sunny weekend then most probably you will find me in Leeds City Center , spending my money like there's no tomorrow on make-up.

I really needed a fast clean up method for my brushes when I'm on the go,so MAC Brush Cleanser was the perfect option for me . I've used it a couple of times and not only that it works , but it's my favorite way of cleaning my brushes.I really recommend this product.

Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks are my option whenever I need a lasting color , specially when I go out for a meal because the color just stays there for hours and hours  even if I eat or drink.Also,my husband prefers this kind of lipstick as he hates it when I kiss him and his lips get colored. 

I bought Sleek's Distorted dreams highlighter when Kat von D's Alchemist palette was sold out , and I got to admit it , I have a love-hate relationship with it.The colors are nice but the glitter is sooo chunky...and the cream highlighters are hard to apply nicely.

 Sleek's lip liner is just a normal creamy lip liner. Not very special,but it's doing its job.

Oh boy,if you only knew for how long I wanted the Benefit Real Cheeky Party Blush Kit ! -me and 462416384 other ladies.... :)
So now that I have it,I want to share with you my opinion: Is it worth buying it or not?



The package is so cool,with lots of info how to use the products ,in a very fun way.
So what do we have inside?Well this awesomeness:

The kit contains:

  • 5 Benefit Blushes : Dandelion | Rock | Sugarbomb | Hoola | Coralista
  • 1 Highlighter : What's up !
  • 1 mini They're Real Mascara
  • 1 mini They're Real Eye liner

The blushes are quite big. I have been using them for 4 months already and I still got loads left , the most I use Hoola mainly for contouring my face and I combine it with Dandelion , a very soft  and rosy blush.

The amount of product is quite generous for the price paid ,so I really recommend the kit if you love diversity and can't settle just for one colour .
I've seen that now it's sold out almost everywhere,but you can still find it overpriced on Amazon.
I bought this kit before Christmas, and I was lucky enough to use a voucher,so I paid for it around 20 quid.

What I've been up to lately


Hi!
I've been offline for quite a while now ,but I still want to keep you updated so these are the newest changes in my life:

1. I started to eat healthy food and stopped eating sugar
Well , I've not completely given up on sugar,but I've certainly reduced it a lot!If in the past I used to eat chocolate in the morning,now I've changed it with milk , cereals and honey .At home if I feel like I need something sweet I just eat 2-3 clementines or drink a glass of orange juice+carrots.I must say,it wasn't easy but if I could do it,anyone can!


2. I drink more water
For a person that used to drink a maximum of 0.5l of water per day,I'm pretty amazed that I managed to get to 1.5l - 2l per day!Of course,it involved a lot of going to the bathroom at the begining,but my body is feeling better and my skin starts looking more hydrated.


3.I'm no longer testing any beauty product
In the past I used to receive and also buy almost any kind of make-up,I started being pretty picky now because: I've used a well known foundation that literally aged my skin and made it dry;I've had a nasty reaction to a natural face cream; I didn't see any results from some products and so on....
My main concern is skincare right now.






1. Start working out and be consistent with it -I am starting slowly with stretching every day

So susan pencil- I'm kinda' confused with the color,I'm not sure if it will suit me ,my skin color is very light and the product is quite dark, it will take some time to learn how to use it.
